| State Game Breeding Station “SHERBA” is situated on the northern slopes of the Eastern Balkan range. It covers a total area of 13,500 ha. The relief is mountainous with dominance of deciduous stands. It is just 75 km away from Varna Airport. The Station together with “Palamara” is the first hunting area founded in Bulgaria in 1932 by the King Boris III. The area was specially selected for its natural environment and favorable weather conditions. The main game species here are: RED DEER, FALLOW DEER, ROE DEER, WILD BOAR and MOUFLON. The feathered game species are represented by PHEASANT and WOODCOCK. Hunting targets among the predators are JACKAL, FOX and WILD CAT. Some trophies, gained in “Sherba” include: red deer – 239.77 CIC points; wild boar – 141.15 CIC points; mouflon – 217.00 CIC points. |

The Station offers its guests fishing, photo hunting, ecotourism and excursions to the landmarks in the region of the Northern Black seaside.
