Stetlink Hunt

State Game Breeding Station “RAZLOG” is situated in the southeastern part of Rila Mountain, the northwestern part of the magnificent Pirin Mountain and in a part of the Western Rhodopes. It covers about 13,690 ha and its altitude varies from 750 m to 2,880 m. The relief is distinctively mountainous varying from alpine to hilly mountainous. The coniferous tree species – Scots and Austrian pine, spruce and fir are prevailing. Beech is the most common deciduous species. The Station is 150 km from the capital Sofia. RED DEER, FALLOW DEER, ROE DEER, WILD BOAR, WILD GOAT and CAPERCAILLIE are the main game species. In addition the MOUFLON and CAPRICORN (Capra ibex) have successfully adapted to the local conditions.

Apart from the hunting adventure, the Station offers its guests ecotourism and photo hunting. “Razlog” is a starting point to one of the most beautiful biosphere reserves “Bayovi dupki – Dzhindzheritsa”.
